Hood River ADU Renovation

In 2013, I purchased my first home in Hood River, Oregon. Once I moved in I started renting my spare bedroom, in my 2br/1ba house, on AirBnB. In 2015, the rental was doing so well that I was able to quite my agency job and start freelancing. At that point, Trevor and I decided to convert my 2 car garage into a living space so we could vacation rent the entire house. This was my first renovation project. I did most of the plumbing and electrical myself, installed cabinets, plumbed and wired all fixtures, tiled the shower, ran a gas line, and installed a gas fireplace. Turns out I’m handy.
